Nothing is known about the life of Alfonzo's gang members before the outbreak. It's possible that they did bidding and reposession before the pandemic happened. In "The Strain" the gang used to live and do criminal activity in Long Island City. But when the outbreak started they began to steal high priced valuables like paintings, diamonds, watches, and other expensive items including the Occido Lumen. They are now stationed at Roosevelt Island using the abandoned church as a make-shift auction house for the bidding war between Setrakian and Palmer. On the island, they are blaring loud rap music and a roadblock manned by sentries, controlling access to the island.
