Roosevelt Island is a narrow island in New York City's East River between the boroughs of Manhattan (typically known as "New York City" or "The City" for short) and Queens as seen in the episode entitled "Dead End". There are three ways to enter the Island: 1) The Roosevelt Island tramway terminal located near the 59th or Queensboro Bridge 2) F train to Roosevelt Island Station 3) Roosevelt Island Bridge via Queens .
Alfonzo Creem has taken control of the island through a monopoly of force .The approaching roads to Roosevelt Island are enclosed by jersey (concrete) & police barriers (wooden sawhorse), secured by Armed Guards toting AK47's and Uzis (Defense in Depth), as Rudyard Fonescu was escorted into the island center with the Occido Lumen in tow, to be inspected by Alfonzo Creem.
